Today we meet a nominee in Fashion and Textile Design. She won the Swiss Design Awards in 2013, and the Albert Kriemler Sponsorship Award in 2012. After she got the general qualification in design/graphic design from Art College Basel in 2007, she started her 3-year Bachelor studies in independent fashion design. Cosima Gadient, who we’re talking about, also did international internships at Assembly in New York and Bernhard Willhelm in Paris, and she worked with Alexandra Bachtsetzis in 2013 for her performance ‘Stages of Staging’.
