The two Swiss designers Sabine Portenier and Evelyn Roth both went to FHNW (Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst) in Basel, studying Fashion Design. In 2007 they launched their common label ‘PORTENIERROTH, La Boutique Volante‘ and worked with international designers like HUGO in Germany and Italy and Didier/Angelo in Paris.  They participated at the Barclay Catwalk in Amsterdam and Zurich and helped to build up the fashion-, beauty-, design- and art magazine BeautyFlow Paris.
