FLORIAN HAUSWIRTH

Florian Hauswirth, who we’re meeting today, got his diploma as a technical model builder in 1997 and did his final degree in 2006 at FHNW (Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz) in Industrial Design. Since 2008 he has worked as independent designer and did projects for Carhartt, Vitra, Plattform07 and more. While he was working in London, Berlin and Switzerland he received the Swiss Art Award in architecture in 2011, for a project in collaboration with Katia Ritz. His works have been exhibited in European cities as well as Beijing and New York.
What does the SDA represent?
A fresh image of Swiss Design, a great platform in good public place and a big support for every awarded designer to continue his work.
