ATLAS STUDIO
What is the task of design?
When does design reach its limits?
Is good design invisible?
Must design create something new?
Is design always interdisciplinary?
How does design change life?

Atlas Studio consists of Martin Andereggen (*1985), Claudio Gasser (*1985) and Jonas Wanderer (*1983). While their focus during the past two years has slightly shifted from posters to books, they understand their studio as a space where synergies of working on all kind of formats and media are continuously explored. Thus, they initiated a project that results in a printed jacket being sent all over the world as well as  a book commissioned by USM. These examples reflect their ongoing motivation to make things happen on a low-budget level, while applying ideas of conceptual design in the work for commercial clients — and most important to constantly shift in between these two extremes. Atlas have also been working with Literaturhaus Zurich and Kunsthalle Basel.

For our blog, Atlas Studio sent their answers to our questions in pixel graphics.
