The Open Call for the 2017 Swiss Design Awards will start soon. From November 14th until December 15th, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture (FOC) calls upon Swiss designers (fashion and textile, graphic design, photography, products and objects, scenography) as well as curators, critics and mediators in the before mentioned disciplines, to submit their application form and project portfolio at www.gate.bak.admin.ch.

The members of the Federal Design Commission and the experts will evaluate the submitted dossiers in a first round and invite a selected number of designers to show their work at the exhibition Swiss Design Awards in June 2017.  The presented works will be judged in a second round. Some 16 prizes are awarded each year. Each award is worth CHF 25,000.
