Sebastian Marbacher´s stair-like stepped furniture became one of this week´s highlights in the exhibition: we all loved to gather, mingle, rest, work, relax, sleep and of course play inside and on top of – or even under –  his object. Designed to offer space for a group as well as secluded corners for singles, his bench is based on observations and the aim to catalyze existing dynamics or even to question the daily life, in a playful way. He prefers working in the public domain, which allows him to serve an audience instead of a single consumer. You might have also seen or sat on one of his “Builder´s bench” outside the exhibition….Check and have a seat!
