ATLAS Studio is a Zurich-based graphic design studio founded in 2012 by Martin Andereggen, Claudio Gasser and Jonas Wandeler. ATLAS is a participant this year in the section of Graphic Design, and the designer of the 2014 SDA-Flyers. Luckily, they didn’t answer in one-word:

What does the SDA represent?

The Design Awards are a platform which gives the possibility to highlight contemporary and experimental forms of design unknown to a broader audience. Residencies abroad or a scholarship encourage this exploring attitude.

A whole series of people we appreciate have been awarded in the past decade or so. Instead of picking out an inspiring person, we would like to mention and salute the experimental attitude as a common characteristic of these people.
