Brunner X Mettler  was  founded in 2010 by Thilo Alex Brunner and Jörg Mettler. The two Swiss Designers are nominated in Product Design. Brunner has received the BAK Swiss Design Award in 2011, the ISPO Brand New Award in 2010, and various other honors. Mettler did his technical vocational baccalaureate in Zurich and studied Industrial Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Northwest Switzerland FHNW. Afterwards Mettler was working at Studio Hannes Wettstein and decided to join his former study friend Thilo Alex Brunner at his studio.

Everyone who has been doing his thing with all his heart and thinks of product design as something soulful. But I was especially happy for my friends from VELT last year since they not only make thorough design work but had the guts to open a business on their own too!
